Relief Society Temple Trip
Thursday, February 16th we will be going to the temple as a Relief Society. If you would like to carpool, we will be leaving the church at 10:45am, in order to make the 11:30 session. We would love to see you there. And if you are not able to come during the day, the whole weekend is Colbert Ward Temple Weekend. Just make sure to make your own appointment.
Walk to Zion
We had 14 walkers last Saturday. We would love to see you any Saturday at 8am on the trail on the corner of Golden and Little Spokane River Drive. There is plenty of parking on Golden. The route is 3 miles and you are welcome to do all or part of that route with us. We will be there rain, snow, sleet, or shine. All speeds of walkers showed up Saturday, so there is always someone to walk with.
And, if you are not able to walk with us, track your walking or running miles and report them to Kim Porter at kimporter59@gmail.com.
Relief Society Birthday Service Project
As many of you may know, we are gathering supplies for a service project we are doing which will impact children locally and across the world. Flannel Blankets, formula, and cereal are being collected for Megan Knorpp and Jessica McComas (both in the Greenbluff Ward) to take to an orphanage in China when they go to pick up their children this Spring and Fall. The other items are for care packages for children in distress in our own community. We will be assembling those that night.
Thank you to all who have already signed up. We are close to our goal and here is what we still need:
3 regular-sized baby formula
1 simple flannel blanket (about 40” square)
1 stuffed animal (no larger than 6”)
12 boxes washable markers
11 small notebooks (3”x5”)
If you are interested in signing up for any of these, feel free to email Cassi Campbell at cassi@familynook.com and she will get your name on the list.
