For those of you still dreaming about the orange rolls you had at our amazing Birthday Dinner, here is the super secret recipe . . . . .
Rhodes Orange Rolls
18 Rhodes dinner rolls
1/2 cup butter melted
1/2 cup sugar
1 orange peel grated (save orange for the juice needed in glaze)
Combine above ingredients. dip roll in mixture and place in a muffin tin or on a cookie sheet (I like to spoon the mixture over the roll versus just dipping)
Let rise for 3 hours. Bake at 350 for 10-15 min. or until lightly browned. Frost with orange glaze while the rolls are still warm. Makes about 18 rolls.
Orange Glaze:
1 C. powdered Sugar
2 T orange juice (use orange from the above recipe)
2 T buttered softened
